Help Transcend: Breaking Barriers

I am a 43 year old trans woman just trying to find a way to fund her gender affirmation surgery. I have never been the type to ask for money in the past. I grew up believing if you can't afford it on your own you don't need it. A lot of things that is true but I have learned over the years there are some times when you do need help. 

All though my direct employer is accepting and supportive of me being true to my self the parent company has made it a point to exclude all trans related care from being covered by the insurance they provide. With cost of living being so high these days I barely make enough to scrape by on. Even more so sense I had no choice but to go in to debt for a car when my truck broke down on me. Life is rough for a white low income trans woman I even looked in to grants but no luck there.

I am fighting to get my insurance to cover the surgery but have no clue if any thing is going to be done any time soon. I do accept donations on my sight here if any one can and is willing to help me raise the money so I can get the surgery without waiting for my insurance to come around and do the right thing.
